New York’ta Horoz Dövüşü Skandalı
New York polisi büyük bir operasyona imza attı. Polis, aylar süren takiplerin ardından yasadışı horoz dövüşçülerinin mekanlarına baskın düzenledi.

Baskınlarda, dövüşlerde kullanılması planlanan 3 bin horoz ele geçirildi.

Olayla bağlantılı 8 kişi tutuklandı.

Asya ülkelerinde geleneksel olan horoz dövüşü, Amerikan yasalarına göre yasak. Yasağa uymayanlar büyük tazminat ödemeye mahkum ediliyor ve hapisle cezalandırılıyor.

Büyük bahislerin döndüğü bu sözde eğlencenin engellenmesi için hayvan severler dünya çapında çalışmalar yürütüyor.
